Born in France in 1980, Massica works as a lawyer in Luxembourg since 2010. It is with the birth of her nephew that she develops an interest for photography, making him the main subject of most of her photos, trying to fabricate memories for him.
It is her relation to the passage of time that leads her to start photographing strangers, anonymous people in order to preserve, modestly, traces of a population at a given time.
Self-taught, she gives more importance to the human being then to the technical aspects of photography. In the streets she let’s herself get carried away by the idea of serendipity.
