The Luxembourg Streetphoto Collective is a community of passionate photographers committed to capturing authentic moments of everyday life in public spaces. Through the art of street photography, we aim to reflect the human condition with honesty, curiosity, and a sharp eye for detail.

Founded in Luxembourg, the collective brings together 21 members—a mix of amateur and professional photographers—who live and work in Luxembourg. We are united by a shared interest in the spontaneous and often poetic encounters that unfold in the streets around us.

As an active and evolving platform for street and documentary photography, we organize a wide range of initiatives throughout the year. These include:

• The Light Leaks Festival, Luxembourg’s only multi-day festival dedicated to street and documentary photography. What began as intimate Slide Nights in pop-up venues has grown over the years into an internationally recognized event featuring exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, portfolio reviews, and installations.

• Slide Nights, now a regular event where members of the public are invited to submit their slideshows featuring their best street photography. The most compelling submissions are awarded a spot in the official festival exhibition—an opportunity to present their work to a broad audience.

• Podcasts featuring conversations with both local talents and internationally acclaimed photographers, offering insight into their creative processes and views on street and documentary photography.

• Publications, such as the City Series, which spotlight urban life through the collective’s diverse photographic voices.

• Cameras & Beers, our open-invitation meetups where anyone interested in photography can join us for a relaxed evening of conversation, inspiration, and connection.

The collective operates as a non-profit association (ASBL) and is dedicated to:

• Supporting emerging and established street photographers

• Promoting street and documentary photography in Luxembourg and beyond

• Building a strong visual culture through education, collaboration, and public engagement
