Gilles Kayser
is a Luxembourgish photographer and high school teacher. Born
and raised in Luxembourg, he finds intrigue in the observation of human life in
the context of ever-changing cities.
He discovered street photography several years ago and has been passionately
pursuing it since. His work is influenced by photographers such as Daido
Moriyama and Greg Girard, both of whom portray life against diverse urban
backdrops.
As an avid traveller with a fascination for east Asian cities, Gilles has been
capturing glimpses of cosmopolitan life in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Chongqing
among others, depicting the vibrancy of these scenes in black white or colour.
